When I picked up a bow for the first time in July of 2012 at age 36, it was love at first shot. I began competing in local 3D archery tournaments the following month with much success which only increased my passion for the sport.  With a lot of encouragment from my husband, I quickly decided that I wanted to seriously pursue a career in archery and compete at the top level of the sport.  You can hear more about my story in this TV interview at WRAL Sports.

My archery career could probably be described as being on a straight up trajectory at 300 feet per second.  After only a few months of shooting a bow I was blessed to be sponsored by PSE Archery, Carbon Express, Shrewd Archery, Spot Hogg, Stanislawski Archery Products, NC Hunter Supply, Nikon and America's Best Bowstrings. With their support I immediately began competing as a pro in national and international circuits and during the 2015 and 2016 archery seasons I will be competing as a compound women's pro in the Archery Shooters Association (ASA), International Bowhunting Organization (IBO), National Field Archery Association (NFAA), USA Archery and World Cup Archery.  I train full time with a single-minded focus on becoming the best female compound archer in the world.

In my pursuit to become the best, I have sought out top-notch training from world class professional archers, including Christie Colin and Reo Wilde, as well as Coach Dan Hart.  I now feel called to teach and cultivate this passion for archery in others and I welcome the chance to meet with you.  I am a USA Archery certified Level II archery instructor.
